Nissanka (Nish) is a Qualified & Chartered Insurance Broker with senior managerial experience, Underwriter, Claims Consultant, and demonstrated history of working in the insurance industry. Skilled in negotiation, business relationship management, risk management, customer service, and sales.

Nish is a financial advisor with eighteen (18) years of experience in the field of insurance and finance and a history of working for many companies.

He completed his BSc Special degree in Insurance & Valuation in 2008. He graduated from the Chartered Insurance Institute- in the United Kingdom as a chartered insurer in 2014 by completing Advanced Diploma in Insurance.

Nish emigrated from Sri Lanka to Aotearoa with his family in 2016. Between starting a new business and raising two young daughters, Nish and his wife Asho don’t have a lot of spare time right now, but they wouldn’t have it any other way.

He earned his BSc in Insurance & Valuation in 2008 and became a Chartered Insurance Broker in 2014 after completing the Advanced Diploma in Insurance from the Chartered Insurance Institute in the United Kingdom.

As a mortgage adviser, Nish guides clients through the complexities of home financing, ensuring they secure the best rates and terms to achieve their financial goals. He is also highly skilled in life and disability insurance, helping clients protect their families and assets against unforeseen events. On the commercial side, Nish provides comprehensive insurance solutions that protect businesses from risks, enabling them to thrive in a competitive environment.

Nish moved from Sri Lanka to Aotearoa in 2016 with his family. Despite the demands of starting a new business and raising two young daughters, Nish and his wife Asho embrace the challenges and joys of their busy lives.

Jeby Joseph is an expert in the insurance industry who possesses the licensing and experience needed to offer the best possible service to his customers. In Nirvana’s personal time, she enjoys spending her time with her two children and husband, traveling, and doing outdoor activities. She believes that outdoor play will encourage her children’s social, physical, emotional, and intellectual development. Being surrounded by nature will help children experience a free environment.

Sahani Morayes brings over 11 years of experience in the insurance and administration industries, with a notable history of working in Sri Lanka. She holds an MBA from the University of Wolverhampton, UK. Additionally, Sahani is currently pursuing the New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services (Level 5) with a specialization in Life, Disability, and Health Insurance. Recently, she joined Advisory Window as our new Office Manager.

With 15 years of experience in the banking and insurance industry, I bring a wealth of knowledge to my role as a Loan Writer at Advisory Window. Before joining the team, I worked at Fidelity Life from 2018 to 2021 as a Case Management Support in the Claims team. Prior to that, I spent seven years at Union Assurance in Sri Lanka and also gained valuable experience at Bank of Ceylon, further strengthening my expertise in the industry.

I have a strong educational background in insurance and finance. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Banking and Finance from Sri Lanka and have completed a Diploma in Insurance from the Sri Lanka Insurance Institute. Additionally, I pursued further studies with the Chartered Insurance Institute (UK) up to the Diploma level. After moving to New Zealand, I completed a Postgraduate Diploma in International Business at Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology.

Beyond my professional life, I am a proud mother of two wonderful girls. At Advisory Window, I manage the majority of loan applications, ensuring a seamless and efficient process for our clients.

Charith is a seasoned insurance professional with 18 years of experience in Sri Lanka’s insurance sector, specialising in customer service, policy underwriting, and broker servicing. He began his career as a trainee underwriting assistant in Sri Lanka and steadily advanced to Assistant Manager, overseeing Medical and Travel Insurance and Business Development. Charith has gained extensive experience in underwriting, sales, marketing, and administration throughout his career.

He holds an MBA from the University of London Metropolitan and is pursuing a second Master’s degree at Unitec Mt Albert Campus. As a Commercial Broker Support, Charith manages the General portfolio, ensuring top-tier service and operational efficiency. His expertise spans Commercial Vehicle covers, Personal and Commercial Line Property Insurance, Liability classes, Transit covers, and other General Insurance products, all aimed at delivering the best possible service to our clients.

In 2023, Charith moved to New Zealand with his family to embrace new opportunities and further his education. He has partly completed his CII qualification and aspires to become a fully qualified Chartered Insurer. His ambition is to practice his expertise in New Zealand, establishing himself as a trusted insurance and financial advisor. Outside of work and studies, Charith enjoys playing cricket and spending quality time with his family.

Amila is an insurance professional with over eight years of experience and a strong background in Mathematics and Statistics. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University of Jaffna. With extensive experience in Sri Lanka’s insurance sector, Amila specializes in customer experience management and broker servicing.

He began his career as a Senior Customer Relations Assistant in Sri Lanka and steadily progressed to Head of Customer Care. In this role, he led customer experience management initiatives, designed and implemented customer satisfaction surveys, analyzed market opportunities related to customer excellence, and investigated competitor activities. He also oversaw the customer complaints management process, ensuring compliance with the Insurance Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka.

In addition to his expertise in customer service, Amila has gained experience in underwriting, business development, marketing, and administration throughout his career.

Currently, as a Commercial Broker Support professional, Amila manages the General Insurance portfolio, ensuring top-tier service and operational efficiency. His expertise spans Commercial Vehicle Insurance, Personal and Commercial Property Insurance, Liability Coverage, Transit Insurance, and other General Insurance products, all aimed at delivering the best possible service to clients.

Apsara is a talented professional with a strong background in finance and analytics. She graduated from the prestigious University of Moratuwa with a Bachelor’s degree in Financial Analytics, earning a Second Class Upper division. Her educational journey provided her with a solid foundation in various areas, including finance, mathematical modeling, investment and portfolio management, statistics, and econometrics.

With one year of work experience in the finance sector, Apsara has demonstrated her expertise and dedication in her field. Recently, she joined Advisory Window as a broker support, bringing her wealth of knowledge and skills to contribute to the company’s success.
